Laser
Machining For Clean Cuts.
Laser
machining is the process of cutting materials by vaporizing
the portion encountered in the very small, well-defined laser
path, which results in a kerf from .003 to .004.
Unlike
conventional machining methods, such as stamping and NC milling,
with laser cutting on our CNC controlled x/y table, complex
patterns can be achieved, flexible or sticky materials can
be cut easily because there is no part contact, and there
is very little time required for set up or retooling.
Laser
cutting is often used on materials such as ceramic, metals,
plastics, rubber, alloys, and various composites. It can also
be used in more delicate applications using materials such
as paper and leather.
